Terms of Service
1. About PEPTIDAL
PEPTIDAL is an app run by Phoenix Luna Investments Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14659396; registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom). In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company. You can contact us at hello@getpeptidal.com.
PEPTIDAL lets you keep a personal record of the medicines, compounds and supplements you choose to log, your doses, vials, body measurements, lab results, daily check-ins and sessions (such as fasting, sauna or cold exposure). It also lets you set reminders, do unit arithmetic with the calculator, read general information in the Learn section and the weekly Letter, build a summary to share with a clinician, and, if you choose, chat with AL, an AI assistant.
2. Tracking and information only. Not medical advice.
PEPTIDAL is a personal tracking and information tool. It is not medical advice. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.
PEPTIDAL does not recommend doses, and does not tell you whether to start, stop or change anything. The numbers in the app are numbers you enter, or arithmetic done on numbers you enter. Decisions about your health and your medicines are for you and your doctor, prescriber or pharmacist.
Always check with a qualified healthcare professional before making any medical decision. In an emergency, call 999.
In more detail:
- The calculator converts values you type in (for example vial size, water volume and the amount you want to draw) into other units, such as millilitres and syringe units. It does not choose or suggest any amount for you. You must check every result, including against the label and the instructions from whoever prescribed or supplied your product, before you act on it. Do not use a result you are unsure about.
- The Learn section and the weekly Letter give general information about compounds and supplements and what they are studied for, and a label such as Approved, Investigational or Unregulated. This is general information only. It is the same for every user. It may be incomplete or out of date, and legal status can differ between countries and change over time. It is not a recommendation to use anything.
- Charts, check-ins and insights only show what you have logged. Patterns shown are descriptive. They do not show that one thing caused another.
- The clinician summary is a PDF of what you have recorded, including the amounts you logged. It is a patient-reported log, not a clinical record. You decide whether to share it and with whom.
- PEPTIDAL does not sell, supply or link to any medicine, supplement or other product, and is not a pharmacy or a prescriber.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for following the law where you live, including any rules about prescription-only medicines and unlicensed products.
3. Who can use PEPTIDAL
You must be 18 or over to use PEPTIDAL. You must not use PEPTIDAL to track, or make decisions for, anyone else's medicines unless you are legally entitled to do so, and you must not use it for anyone under 18.
4. Your account
PEPTIDAL needs an account to work. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for activity on your account. Tell us at hello@getpeptidal.com if you think someone else has accessed it. You can delete your account at any time in the app (open Settings, then Account, then Delete account). How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
5. Free version and PEPTIDAL Premium
PEPTIDAL has a free version with limits (for example, on the number of active items you can track) and a paid subscription called PEPTIDAL Premium that unlocks more. What Premium includes is shown on the subscription screen in the app before you buy.
Price and billing
- Premium is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. At the time of writing the prices are £7.99 a month and £49.99 a year, but the price shown in the app and in the App Store or Google Play at the time you buy is the price that applies.
- Payment is taken by Apple (through your Apple ID) or Google (through your Google Play account), not by us. We never see your card details.
Free trial and founding member offer
- Free trial. We may offer a 7-day free trial of Premium to new subscribers. It applies to the monthly, yearly and founding member plans. Apple or Google decides whether you are eligible (usually once per person), and the offer shown to you in the app and in the store when you subscribe is the one that applies.
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged the price shown to you at sign-up. On Apple, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. On Google Play, cancel before the date shown in your Google Play subscription settings.
- Founding member offer. For a limited number of early members (planned to be the first 200) we may offer the yearly plan at a lower founding price. The planned price is £34.99 a year, instead of the standard £49.99. The offer may end sooner than the 200 places being taken.
- The plan is that a founding member keeps the founding price for as long as their subscription continues without a break. If the subscription is cancelled or lapses, the founding price may not be available again and the standard yearly price then in force (planned to be £49.99) would apply. If a price ever has to change, Apple or Google will tell you and, where the rules require, ask for your agreement first.
Automatic renewal
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (each month or each year) for the same period and the then-current price, unless you cancel first.
- On Apple, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next charge. Apple charges your Apple ID account for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- On Google Play, cancel before the renewal date shown in your Google Play subscription settings.
- If a price is going to change, Apple or Google will tell you and, where the rules require, ask for your agreement before you are charged the new price.
How to cancel
- iPhone and iPad: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose PEPTIDAL and tap Cancel Subscription.
- Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, choose PEPTIDAL and tap Cancel subscription.
Deleting the app or your PEPTIDAL account does not cancel your subscription. After you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refunds
Apple and Google handle payments and refunds. To ask for a refund, use Apple's "Report a Problem" or Google Play's refund process. We cannot refund purchases made through Apple or Google ourselves. Nothing in this section affects any legal rights you have as a consumer.
6. AL, the optional AI assistant
AL is an AI chat assistant powered by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic PBC. AL is optional and only works after you agree on a consent screen. By using AL you understand that:
- AL is a computer program. It is not a doctor, pharmacist, nurse or prescriber.
- AL can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check anything important with a professional.
- AL gives general information. It is built not to give personal dosing advice, to tell you to start, stop or change anything, or to say whether something is safe for you. If you tell AL an amount you are taking, it is built to send you back to your prescriber.
- If you have symptoms that worry you, contact a healthcare professional or call 999 (or 111 for non-emergency advice in the UK). Do not wait for AL.
- Your messages and certain parts of your logged data are sent to Anthropic, a company in the United States, to produce replies. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is sent, and how to turn AL off.
- You can report an AL reply in the app if you think it is wrong or harmful.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use PEPTIDAL for anything unlawful, or to buy, sell or arrange the supply of any medicine or other product;
- ask AL or the app to do things outside what they are for, try to get around AL's safety limits, or use AL to produce harmful content;
- try to get into parts of the app, our servers or other users' data that you are not allowed to, or interfere with them;
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell the app or its content;
- use automated tools to send requests to AL or to our servers;
- give us false information or use someone else's account.
8. Our content and your content
The app, its design, its Learn content, the weekly Letter, the calculator and the PEPTIDAL name and logo belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on your own devices while you comply with these terms.
The information you log is yours. You give us permission to store it and use it only to run the app for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. The app may change
We may update the app, add or remove features, and change Learn content, including status labels, as things develop. We try to keep the app available and working but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. If we make a significant change to something you have paid for, we will tell you.
10. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights that the digital content we supply is of satisfactory quality, fit for its purpose and as described.
Subject to that, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses (because the app is for personal use), or for loss caused by you not following these terms or the warnings in them, including acting on a calculation without checking it.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using PEPTIDAL and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires. If we end your access for a reason other than your breach, and you have paid for a period you cannot use, we will help you to get a refund through Apple or Google where we can. Your data is handled as set out in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example because the law or the app changes. We will tell you about important changes in the app or by email, and give you reasonable notice before they apply. If you do not agree to a change, you can stop using the app and cancel your subscription. If a change affects what is sent to AL or Anthropic, we will ask for your consent again.
13. Apple and Google
These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app, its support or any claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms in relation to the iOS app, and may enforce them against you.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
If you have a complaint, email hello@getpeptidal.com first and we will try to sort it out.
